The Restaurant

Homestead Cottage is only a short drive from the Cliffs of Moher or Doolin village. The perfect stop for a gourmet lunch or immersive dining experience.
Set in a traditional Irish cottage serving modern cooking sourced locally.

Sophie leads the dining room team with a vast experience from Bourgogne to the Burren.

Louise and Iris will sometimes make an appearance.
We are very proud to say that Homestead Cottage was rewarded with a Michelin star in February 2024

Sophie

After getting the buzz of restaurants from the tender age of 16, Sophie has worked across France, Corsica and Ireland.

Sophie came to Ireland first to work in Gregans Castle where she stayed for 4 years.

Sophie says her favorite thing about Irish hospitality is being able to have the 'craic' with the guests

Our Kitchen

After falling in love with Clare in 2019, we decided to make Doolin our home. After many years working in hospitality, we finally have decided to take the leap of faith and open our own restaurant.

We proudly work hand to hand with local farmers, growers and artisan food producers to highlight the great food that comes from this area.

Our menu changes daily as to what is fresh, locally available and best in season.

Robbie

Since 16 Robbie has worked in kitchens in the UK starting his apprenticeship with the Royal Academy of Culinary Arts at the Royal Automobile Club in London, followed by time working at Edinburgh's Michelin starred 'Number One'.  In 2013, he made the move over to Ireland, spending time in Gregans Castle in Ballyvaughan followed by time with Garret Byrne in Michelin starred Campagne in Kilkenny. Robbie returned to Gregans in 2018 to head up the kitchen winning multiple awards during his time at the helm.
